Thermal Death Parameters of bacteria (D, F, z value, SAP) with solved problems for GATE and JAM exam

Описание к видео Thermal Death Parameters of bacteria (D, F, z value, SAP) with solved problems for GATE and JAM exam

Most industries use heat to kill unwanted microorganism from the finished products. Because, it is cost effective and rapid. And, most important of all it is very effective method to kill vegetative cells as well as endospore. But, it shows different outcomes when different materials are sterilized or different microbes present in the final products. Like some materials are easy to sterilized but, some are not. Also, some bacteria die out quickly while other is not. So, it is very important to know the effectiveness of heat on particular material and when certain number of microbes present initially. Microbiologist generally used few terms to describe the effectiveness of heat as a sterilizing agent. Like- Decimal Reduction Time (D value), TDT (F value), Thermal Resistance Constant (z value), and PNSU or SAL or SAP.
I hope you find this video helpful for your exam preparation. Some previous year numerical problems are solved in this video.
