Constant:
A symbol which has a fixed numerical value.

Variable:
A symbol which can take various numerical values.
x, y, z, p, q, r, …. etc.
Term:
A number or a variable, or product/division of numbers and variables is called a term.
2, x, 3x, 7x/y, 5x2y, -2a3b2….etc.
Expression :
An expression is a single term or a combination of terms connected by the symbols + or –
Ex: 3x2y, 5x+2
3x2+2xy-8
x-2+5x-6
x2 – 5/x
