One of the major contributors to digestive disorders such as heartburn, indigestion, and food intolerance are often caused by underlying metabolic problems including lack of enzymes, intolerance to foods, chemical toxicity, and chronic constipation. One of the major contributors to the problem is eating too frequently.

Eating meals too often may not allow the body enough time to recuperate between meals and reload it’s enzyme pool. This can cause a lack of enzymes and hydrochloric acid in the stomach, leading to the development of digestive disorders with conditions such as acid reflux (heartburn), esophageal disorders, and food intolerance.

Zach Bush did a study at the University of Virginia where they took healthy college students and fed them 950 calories of pizza. Typical American meal. They tracked the passage of that through the intestine; it took 14 hours for that pizza to cross the small intestine to get to the colon. Picture eating dinner at 8pm, 14 hours later you are still processing that pizza! You haven’t eaten stopped eating yet your brain is saying I’m hungry again. We end up eating breakfast when there’s still food in our testiness so there are always this back up log. You never get a break. Fasting is the opportunity to give you gut silence for the first time in your life and it will revolutionize your health.

L-glutamine is a type of amino acid that helps strengthen the lining of the gut. It feeds the colon cells and increases the mucous lining.
Recommended dosage for leaky gut; Work up to 10 grams, 3 times per day. Get it in the powdered form. Start with 10 grams once per day for the first 3 days. Then 10 grams twice per day for 3 days. Then 10 grams 3 times per day ongoing. Take it on am empty stomach.

When you consume calories, you are converting those calories to energy. The metabolism thats required to do that generates something called reactive oxygen species (ROS).
ROS creates free radicals that are damaging to your cells and your mitochondrial DNA, which are then transferred to your nuclear DNA.
Your body ages from the damaging aspects of excessive ROS.

Your energy consumption drops dramatically when you are sleeping. This tends to expand the production of ROS when you don't use the energy.
Higher amounts of ROS = cellular damage.
This is why its important NOT to eat anything within 3 hours of going to bed.
