Mega Man X5 - X vs Zero (Mega Man Zero Style Remix)

Here it is, my first actual remix!

I absolutely love X vs Zero (the fight and track) from Mega Man X5, and being a huge Mega Man Zero fan, I've always wondered what would've happened if this same fight took place at some point in the series for one reason or another. Whether it be from the scrapped concept of Copy X being the real X, Weil taking X's body instead of Zero's, or just anything to do with if they made Zero 5. If so, this is how I imagine the music would be like.

I truthfully never really thought about remixing before up until I started messing around with midi sequences and soundfonts on my old laptop, and friends recommended that I should try creating a full-on remix instead. So, as an on and off project in-between college classes, I did so!

(Also, if you can spot all the leitmotifs/references in this track, I'll give you a crisp online high five.)

Also, shoutout to my friend/inspiration MyNewSoundtrack and his Discord community. I've been an active in the community for nearly 5 years at this point, and his remixes were what helped inspire me to start getting into it as well. I also went to MyNewSoundtrack for quick feedback during the creation process of this remix as well, given this is my first actual remix attempt, and he was a huge help for both motivation and changes involving the remix.

A: LMMS 1.2.2 because I cannot financially afford FL Studio yet lol

Q: Can this be played on actual hardware?
A: Good question

Q: Where can I get the Zero soundfont?

Q: What do you plan on remixing in the future?
A: Probably more Mega Man stuff in the Zero style even if the soundfonts can be hard to work with sometimes (cough cough Zero 4 cough)

Q: Favorite Zero game?
A: Zero 3, Zero 2 is close second

Q: Are you uploading Smash content anymore?
A: Probably not since I've kinda fallen off Ultimate, maybe Rivals of Aether content in the future though that game slaps
