In this episode, Andrew sits down with Good Bubble founder and successful Dragons’ Den pitcher Amy Wordsworth.

Amy was working at Saatchi & Saatchi X as a planner where she progressed from graduate Planner through to fully qualified Planner. During her time at Saatchi X, she completed the MAA Diploma in Integrated Marketing and worked on accounts that included: Proctor & Gamble, Diageo, Cadbury, Walkers and HTC.

In 2014, Amy then went on to create Good Bubble, a range of natural bath and hair products for children. Amy realised she needed financial backing, but also someone who could help with the Good Bubble brand.

Amy had the idea to apply for the TV show Dragons’ Den. Amy’s application was accepted and she was on Series 13, episode 6. After a grueling 2-hour session under some very hot lighting, Amy went light-headed and had a bit of a wobble. However, she came back fighting to secure £60,000 for 40% equity from Deborah Meaden. Amy’s tenacity helped show Deborah that she doesn’t give up easily.

Amy credits Deborah for taking Good Bubble to another level who got the Good Bubble range into Sainsbury's. Good Bubble has secured listings with Whole Foods Market, Ocado, Holland & Barrett, and several UK and Irish wholesalers.
