This shows what a bad camshaft variable valve timing actuator does to an engines timing. The camshaft closest to you is not spinning consistently with the timing chain. This is just cranking the engine, not running. The camshafts should be locked to the cam gear at this time. This was causing a clatter at engine startup, until oil pressure got to the cam actuator, and it would quite down. You could physically rock this actuator back and forth by hand.
