Mr. Arun Pathak, Head of Operations – Steel Service Centers (India & Middle East), ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India), delivered a highly impactful session at the Steel Service Center Conference for Auto, Infrastructure & Engineering, organized by Metalogic on 11th February 2026 in Pune.

In his address, he emphasized the urgent need to transform traditional steel service centers into “Solution Centers”, delivering value-added, precision-driven, and safe steel processing solutions for industries such as automotive, appliances, white goods, infrastructure, and heavy engineering.

With AM/NS India embarking on a major capacity expansion journey toward 15 million tonnes of steel production, the company is strategically investing in automation, downstream processing, and service center capacity enhancement to support India’s fast-growing steel demand.
