Day 36 - Bridge Of The Gods
We had a quiet night at our campsite on the Eagle Creek trail. Passed by some more waterfalls and pools, met John the deer and hiked about 5 miles over rocks to the parking lot. Took the bike path towards Cascade Locks, there was a marathon or race going on and about 2000 runners were on the same path. So many told us „Good job. Well done“ because we finished Oregon and would be in Washington soon. It was great, just like a welcoming committee. We reached the iconic Bridge of the Gods and walked halfway over it. I made a few steps into Washington and ended my Oregon section here. So happy.
