I get a lot of pedal shootout requests and I don't typically bite unless I can see a direct correlation between the two pedals. Both the Arcturus and Broadcast are modeled after console preamps from the 60's. Check. Both are discrete preamps. Check. Both have transformers. Check. Both use germanium for clipping. Check.

I'll leave it up to you to decide for yourself. I certainly can't make up my mind on it.
