This Furnace is the last to survive in the UK.
The whole factories on this sight are due for demolition, which is sad, more of Sheffield's history going forever.
I'm hoping they will keep the furnace where it is.
The factories that are going to be demolished I have not yet found out, what they used to make, but surely something could have been made of them years ago surely.
well can anyone please leave a comment below if they know what factories they used to be.
Just think it's a waste that historic buildings like these are just being demolished without a care to preserve Sheffield's history.
