This continued the positive momentum from the previous trading session's 5.10-point rise. The market fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,586.23 and a low of 2,566.27. A total turnover of Rs. 4.6 Arba was recorded, involving 10,086,705 shares across 315 listed companies.

Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Limited promoter shares (PMLIP) led the turnover chart with trades worth Rs. 21.82 crores, closing at Rs. 1,048.5 per share. Nyadi Hydropower Limited (NYADI) was the top gainer, with a 10% surge in its share price, while Support Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SMB) experienced the steepest decline, falling by 5.02%.

Sectoral indices showed mixed results:

The Trading Index dropped by 2.03%.

The Development Bank Index gained 2.40%.
