First of all, happy birthday Hannah! I hope you have an amazing day with your family and everyone you love. Once you're online tell me more about your day in downtown Austin, I'm curious! And, well, I wanted to upload this amv this morning but I ended up working on it up until the last second haha. It's already late afternoon for you so I figured it's about time to upload this! I was thinking about what song to use for your birthday and looking through your song playlist when I saw this song and I was like "oh this is cute I want to edit it'... and now here we are! So fun story about this amv: I originally started with the theme of 'love growing over time" but well, it quickly turned into just a compilation of my favorite cute moments in some of my favorite romance anime-- I couldn't resist haha. I hope you enjoy!

As for the other reason I chose this song, besides that it's cute and I love it, it's that I like the message behind it. While our relationship isn't a 'kataomoi'-- a one-sided love-- I really adore the lyrics and the singer's emotions and I feel the same way! Even when our love can feel one-sided and as we both grow older and change, it's alright. It's honestly alright. One of the lines in the song that stands out to me is "yume ga kanatta no", which means "my dreams came true". My dreams are coming true and I hope we'll always be able to appreciate our happy moments together!

In my past year with you, you've helped me grow so much. Well, not physically but, like, emotionally? No, that's not quite it. Ah you know what I mean. I feel like I've grown a lot as a person in this past year and a part of that is thanks to you! You've helped me boost my confidence, sort out my own feelings and thoughts, and you've motivated me so much this past year. Every time we have a bit of heart-to-heart, I feel like I learn more not just about you but also about me as well, and it never fails to astonish me haha. So thank you for being here for me! Since I feel like I really don't tell you this enough: I love you.
