About Bob and Anne
After 4 months of backpacking and doing volunteer work Bob and Anne decided they wanted to travel more but also have their own home on the road. So they went back to The Netherlands, bought a van and converted it to their dream house on wheels. Now they are traveling through Europe, playing music in living rooms and in the streets. Because their minimal lifestyle requires so little money they can spend more time exploring, learning and enjoying life together. They hope that this journey will also teach them how to sustain this lifestyle after traveling, whenever that may be.

About the song
When backpacking through Portugal Bob and Anne found a ruin in a beautiful valley. Fruit trees in the garden, a creek with drinkable water at the bottom of the land and great neighbors. It was love at first sight. They immediately drew up some plans for the renovation. When they inquired about the price they were flabbergasted: 10 000 euros for the ruin and the land and another 20 000 for a complete renovation with local craftsmen! In the end, they did not buy the ruin (because their savings went into the van) but who knows, maybe someday they will. This song is a reminder of that ruin, of their travels and about looking for a place to call home.

About us: Our mission to bring the European Continent a little closer together just with an old rusty van and a bunch of microphones. The ideas were to find the best street musicians from all around Europe, record their music, and share their stories with the world. 2 years and 25 countries later it is finally done.
