Descent - Gris Piano Collections

Something different than usual, a Patreon of mine asked if I could record this piece from Gris Piano Collections from top-down to help him learn the piece.

I haven't played Gris, nor was I familiar with the OST before this request. I am very vaguely familiar with Gris, I know it is supposedly a highly emotional experience with the soundtrack playing a crucial role in conveying the game's mood. I am very self aware as a piano player and realise my performance probably doesn't half accomplish that, but I hope it suffices for its purpose. At the very least I hope to bring more attention to the OST, which deserves it for sure!

The soundtrack is very unique, while the harmony is pretty simple and almost completely diatonic, there are a lot of not-so-obvious chord extensions scattered throughout the arrangement. It's deceptively easy, but quite tricky to do justice in my opinion.
