Wonder is a heartwarming story about a ten-year-old boy named August Pullman, known as Auggie. Born with a rare facial deformity, he has undergone numerous surgeries but still has a severely abnormal face.
Auggie was homeschooled by his mother initially. However, when he reaches fifth grade, his parents decide to enroll him in Beecher Prep School. In school, he faces various challenges and difficulties, such as being laughed at and excluded by some classmates because of his appearance. Nevertheless, he also makes true friends like Summer and Jack. With the love and support of his family, especially his parents and sister Via, as well as the help of the principal and teachers, Auggie gradually gains the respect and friendship of his classmates through his own courage, kindness, and wisdom. In the end, he grows into an "unbelievable miracle" in people's minds.
