Hip Mobility Series - Physical Therapy Exercises

Описание к видео Hip Mobility Series - Physical Therapy Exercises

One thing that we tend to come across a lot at Chiro 1st Chiropractic and Physical Therapy are patients that suffer with tight hips. The modern and current pandemic world forces us to do an inordinate amount of time sitting. This causes a weakening of the gluteal muscles and a tightening of our hip flexors.

Golfers and other rotational sports should pay particular attention to hip tightness. Lack of hip mobility leads to increased effort and wear on the low back which may lead to injury. Golfers who predominantly swing "with their arms" and do not fire the hips are more likely to have a disc problem, whether it is a bulge, herniation or annular tear.

One of the first things that we lose when we begin to develop arthritis of the hip is internal rotation. A loss of internal rotation, abduction and flexion is known as a capsular pattern.

This little series will help maintain hip flexibility and keep you is the game!
