Referral fees are paid in full compliance with State Bar Rules and Alabama Rules of Professional Conduct and are usually a percentage of the contingency fee that we receive at the conclusion of the client's case. Our arrangement can either be a straight referral or an association where the referring attorney continues to provide services in the case. Referral fees are a way to enable lawyers to still participate financially in cases which they are not prepared to personally handle. The system benefits clients by encouraging attorneys to seek out specialists whose involvement enhances the client’s prospects for success.
