The ND IDEA Center with Notre Dame Club of New York hosted a conversation on Building Entrepreneurs. We uncovered the many and varied activities that are occurring under the hood of the IDEA Center that is driving student entrepreneurship on and off campus, including why Notre Dame started the IDEA Center and is placing emphasis on entrepreneurialism.

There was an introduction to the IDEA Center’s commercialization engine, alumni labs, and the many student programs that push the envelope on innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. Bryan Ritchie, the Vice President and Cathy and John Martin Associate Provost for Innovation at the IDEA Center, was the guest speaker.

The discussion included three student entrepreneurs, each in different stages of their business, to understand how the IDEA Center is helping each company de-risk, monetize, and finance their business within the Notre Dame startup community. This was an opportunity for NDNY members to engage and interact at the edge of ND innovation and potentially build lasting business relationships with young entrepreneurs who are seeking experienced mentorship and guidance as they grow their ventures.
