BTS Wins Big: Presidential Commendation for LOVE MYSELF Campaign Sparks Fan Celebration

On Monday, December 6, BTS was awarded the Presidential Commendation at the 5th Republic of Korea Good Donation Awards for their LOVE MYSELF campaign in partnership with UNICEF. The award, presented by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, celebrated the group's campaign that kick-started in 2017, which has currently raised 9.2 billion KRW ($6.7 million) for youth welfare and counseling across the globe.

The award was also presented to the K-pop boy group for the hope they directed towards the youth across the world. Due to the same, several people were motivated to make donations and contribute to other significant cultural happenings, which eventually led to the impressive and remarkable revenue created by the eight-year campaign by BTS and LOVE MYSELF.
