Today we will be taking a look at a 20 foot by 2 inch Erickson Recovery Tow Strap with reinforced loop ends. Part number em59500. The recovery tow strap features nylon reinforced ends. Which are going to help reduce wear and tear over time. It also makes it easy to hook onto a tow hook. The strap is made out of a heavy duty webbing.

Its 20 foot long. By two inches wide, and it's going to stretch an additional 10%, when we're towing out our vehicle. It has a webbing strength rated at 10,000 pounds per inch of width, and a break strength of 18,000 pounds. It also comes with a sown in elastic strap, which is going help contain our tow strap when bundled up and not in use. On last thing I want to point out; is that since our strap is 20 foot long, we are able to keep our tow vehicle a safe distance from our sticky situation. Well be using our recovery tow strap on the UTV here today. I never thought Id get the darn thing stuck.

As you can see I am in quite the pickle. The wheels are spinning, we're not getting any traction on the ice. Before we tow it out, we want to make sure that we don't exceed the vehicle weight limit which is 9,000 pounds. I don't think were going to have any trouble with that here today. We've already got one end hook on our UTV.

It's a good thing I had my Max Tow Receiver Tow Ring with me; Part mt70029. First thing I want to do is disconnect my shackle. Will take the loop end of our tow strap, put it on our shackle, and just put that back in place. Well just make sure that's secure, good. Now let's get this sucker out.
