In the "South Park" episode "Die Hippie, Die," Eric Cartman believes hippies are a threat to South Park and starts a business to remove them. He deceptively rounds up hippies, but is arrested for kidnapping. Meanwhile, a huge hippie music festival overwhelms the town. Realizing Cartman was right, the mayor releases him. Cartman then disrupts the festival with death metal music, driving the hippies away and saving the town.
