Mythbusters' Adam Savage: Why A Gap Year Before College Works

Описание к видео Mythbusters' Adam Savage: Why A Gap Year Before College Works

Should you take a gap year before going to college? Mythbusters' Adam Savage thinks that taking a gap year before college can be beneficial to students. Savage, who has been a TV host, public speaker, and special effects designer, did so after dropping out of NYU Tisch School of the Arts after six months.

Adam Savage isn't against students getting college degrees, but he suggests those who attend college do so with a clear purpose in mind.

Since over half of those graduating college this year say they have student loan debt, cost plays a big factor in Savage's advice. The gap year can serve as a way to explore your passions, find a purpose, and identify a college degree that you want to pursue.
