Various things happening in and around the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway.
(1.) Working on Austerity No. 19:- The boiler has been successfully steam tested and is now in the frames. The connecting rods, cross heads, piston rods are all now fitted.

(2.) Painter working on Caledonian Class 439 No. 419 in the loco shed at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway .

(3.) ColasRail Freight and two Westcoast locos at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway .

(4.) Locomotives No. 6 from Prestongrange Mining Museum in East Lothian temporary stabled at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway and LNER - D49, No. 246 "Morayshire" both locos having there boiler tubes cleaned out.

(5.) This was a rare chance to see this lovely old wagon being shunted in the yard at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway. A 10 ton 1-plank Ballast Wagon Great North of Scotland Railway No.1329 Built 1923, (under the auspices of LNER) at Inverurie would originally have been painted red and without company initials,because it was expected always to operate within its owner's own system.Although it has a steel underframe the primitive single-shoe brake is a throwback to Victorian times.
