0:10 - 1. This lick is an Em7 arpeggio played with two-handed tapping. It starts with an ascending string-skipping pattern, and then descends with the left hand playing Em arpeggio, and the right hand adding 7ths with tapping. This lick is inspired by the famous "Wonderful Slippery Thing" tapped arpeggio. (the difference is that in WST, Guthrie plays a maj7 arpeggio, instead of min7)

0:30 - 2. This lick is an ascending string-skipping lick, which uses only one repeating pattern on every string. It's a great lick to practice hybrid picking. To play the last note, you have to place your right hand, where you'd find the 24th fret, and then release the note on the 21st fret with your left hand, to play a natural harmonic. 0:48 - 3. This lick is a descending Am pentatonic lick, but instead of playing these groups of four notes in just one position, you work your way up the fretboard. Adding a slide on the first note of every group is a great way, to make this lick more unique. (transcribed from "Favourite Licks Lesson" by Guthrie)

1:02 - 4. This lick is a Bm7 arpeggio, played using triplets and 3-string sweeping (between frets 6-4, and then 4-2, with slide in between). It ends, with a whole-step bend, 2 frets below the last note of Bm7 arpeggio. Guthrie does this kind of bends very often in his improvs, because it allows to play vibrato both above, and below the target note. (inspired by transcribing licks from Guthrie's improvs)

1:12 - 5. This lick is a very useful and groovy B Dorian blues lick, which uses double-stop with sliding one of the notes. (inspired by lick from "Wonderful Slippery Thing")

1:30 - 6. This lick is an usual Am blues scale lick, but with a little twist. You bend the note on the 7th fret, by a whole step, the slide to the 12th fret, while still bending the string, to hit the A note, and then slide back to the 7th fret, still holding the bend. There is no picking between the bends, which makes the lick much more expressive and fluid. (inspired by the main melody of "Wonderful Slippery Thing")
