Manetone - Menes - Eusebius (265-340 AD) writes that Manetho (Μανέθων, Μανέθως) had studied the history of the inscriptions that Toth (τρισμέγας e τρισμέγιστος alias Hermes Trismegistus) engraved on the columns of the egyptian temples. He transcribed Manetho's long list from ancient existing texts of the Ancient Library of Alexandria, in Egypt. It was the largest and most significant great library of the ancient world.
