You would drown every friend if you had the time,
All you need is their innocence of mind
A trusting believer tastes like the finest wine,
To feed on the hope by design
Milks the sweetest tears to wet your appetite,

Fear wakes the haunted
Your voice shapes the dreams they regret,
Every thing they wanted
You've used to open their chests
Where the heart lies...is where you sleep best
Eat them from the inside to leave scars they'll never forget,
As long as you're remembered, you'd never settle for less,

How well I know your mind
You would rape every lover as soon as you know they're blind,
All you need is their needful smile
Then you've found a way inside, it's the perfect sign,
Their suffering is holy in your designs,
Tastes like candy floss and that sugar rush is worth every lie,

You've gambled too much
Addicted to your own confidence...game,
You're too talented to touch
No one could ever see through that perfect...fake,

But I can see the change
The years have not been kind,
You've poisoned your own veins
You're pale and nauseous all the time,
You know karma tastes bitter
And cheap guns have hair triggers
I think you've finally crossed the line,

Always falling ill from your allergy to honesty
Your sick and crippled soul fading so slow,
Becoming nothing but a shrouded ghost
Within your tapestry of tangled lies and tragedies,

Always planting seeds you'll never sow
Ignoring their needs but you still expect them to grow,
Offering nothing more and still demanding the most,
You think you wear the perfect image
But fooled by your own mirrors and smoke,

Like an empty promise from the heartless
To bring them light and leave them nothing left but darkness,
On a mission to take every soul you can harvest
You stop and admire all the tears that flow just prove your progress
To break every door and open all Pandora's boxes,
Now you've stolen the keys so come and finish what you started
You'll discover having what you find is never half as good as wanting,
The time is right to face the light
That will finally leave you broken and blind,

Fading lonely into the wrong
Fading and fading until you've faded long gone,
Singing the same old bitter song
Just a whispered echo, No one can hear you crying now
You should have known this was coming all along...
