Sadōgu or dōgu (茶道具/道具) are the tools, utensils, and art pieces used in chanoyu or the Japanese Way of Tea. The selection and arrangement of these pieces in harmonious contrast is called toriawase, and is one of the primary means of artistic expression in the tearoom
