I started out as a teenager with my grandparents. Living near the shore of Rhode Island I photographed landscapes and nature subjects. I studied photography, as a hobby, throughout my life. I recently retired from being a Fire Fighter and started West Haven Portraits.
Jen, my partner, also has been taking photos most of her life. Born in Nevada she had plenty of beautiful landscapes to photograph. After moving to Mississippi she came to Connecticut to get her Master's Degree.
We recently decided to try wedding photography. We had so much fun at our first engagement session, we were hooked. We expanded to family, portrait and maternity photography among others. We are always looking for ways to expand. Our clients are like family and we are willing to do what it takes to make them happy.
We are successful because we are client oriented. We want to understand you, your dream, your style, what's important to you. We can work the room so you can mingle, have fun and relax. We put our hearts in our work, and deliver high quality images (sometimes as soon as a few weeks).
