“Wonder,” the lead single to Mendes' eponymous fourth studio album is being described as “the emblematic of Shawn’s profound state of contemplation,” with references to his relationship with Camila Cabello, and marks the first release in over a year since the duet with Camila on “Señorita”. I loved the opening chordal harmonization; as if he was influenced by Jacob Collier. Shawn Mendes is well known for his power ballads and Wonder exceeds any expectations we've heard from him so far; from the opening to the climatic instrumental closing. If this is what we're hearing as the debut single off his new album, then this sounds like a promising album. Enjoy the ride folks. Hope you enjoy my arrangement!
