our people, our name, our pride and our history!

For their own luxury but not for the people!

was cut up by politicians and their friends
for their own luxury and warm
and our people were left out in the world
hungry and homeless

Zeus who cared for law, order and justice
over everyone rich and poor
would never have allowed
the burning of land and olive trees
and the evicting of our people
from their hardearned homes and small businesses

Possiden the God of our seas
would never have allowed
the selling and overtaking by the criminals
the new rich and foreigners
of the Haven ports and islands
of his beloved Greek people

Afroditis Godess of beauty
land and people
what would she have said
over the plundering and destroying
the laying bare
of our beautiful land and scenery
