Shad is here now at Bonneville dam, Washington state. Those big female shad are in already, great fight and delicious roe, you don't want to miss it. Again, the most important trick for shad fishing is: Keep your line tight! Let the jig sink for about 8 to 10 seconds to the bottom before reeling in if the current is pretty strong.
