【東京事変叩いてみた#1】東京事変ー御祭騒ぎ

今回は東京事変の「御祭騒ぎ」をドラムカバーしました。

学生時代東京事変を初めて聞いたとき、僕のドラム人生が変わったことをよく覚えています。


それまではコピーバンドでも、自分で作った曲でもかっちり曲を覚えて、1音たりとも間違えずに演奏しようと思っていたのですが、東京事変に出会い毎回違うことをやってみたり、多少リズムを崩したりしてボーカルを困らせてみたりとか、それまでなかった遊び心というものに出会いました！


また遊び心が生まれたことによりはるかにドラムが楽しくなったので是非皆さんも遊び心を手に入れて楽しいドラム生活をスタートさせてみてください！


そして学生時代東京事変のドラムをコピーしまくっていたので、その名残もあり4時間のスタジオで7曲も撮れたので今回から連続東京事変ドラムカバー祭りを勝手に開催します！(笑)

第一弾はお祭りにちなみ「御祭騒ぎ」をお届けします！

This time I did a drum cover of "The Carnival" by Tokyo Incidents.

I remember clearly that when I first heard Tokyo Incidents when I was a student, my life as a drummer changed.


Up until then, whether it was a copy band or a song that I had written myself, I had always tried to memorize the songs and play them without missing a single note, but when I came across Tokyo Incidents, I tried to do something different every time. I discovered a sense of playfulness that I hadn't had before, such as breaking the rhythm and troubling the vocals!


Also, the new sense of playfulness has made playing the drums so much more fun, so I hope you all can get a sense of playfulness and start a fun life with the drums!


And since I used to copy Tokyo Incidents' drums a lot when I was a student, I was able to record 7 songs in a 4-hour studio, so I'm holding a continuous Tokyo Incidents drum cover festival from now on! (lol)

The first installment is "The Carnival", which is related to the festival!
