Mercedes Benz C126 Coupe (380sec/420sec/500sec/560sec)

Was gonna choose the long-wheel base sedan originally but I guess the coupe always gives it a bit more of a romantic and sexier feel, especially with that seatbelt extender delivering the seatbelt buckle to you, so you don't have to lift your arm and grab over your shoulder and look for it. Boy, how cool is that!!! I know, many late models Mercedes coupes now have the same feature and it's not rare at all these days. But back in the 80s, it wasn't just a novelty, but I guess it was a status symbol beyond it all (except the picnic table for rear passengers in a Rolls for Grey Poupon of course) most cars. I include the 380sec and 420sec here cos those mostly came with MB tex seats, which a lot of them still look so new even after 30, 40 years, whereas the 500/560sec, although had a bigger engine, most came with genuine leather seats, which, in my opinion, most of them can't stand the test of time and would look quite shabby and have cracks and all inside such extraordinary young timers coupes. The big old trunk could fit at least 4 of our guitars and rigs, and for the amps and all, the big SUV our bassist's dad would take care of them and for drums, we need to call a truck anyway if the venue doesn't have drums provided, so arriving to a gig in such a classic coupe, that has a timeless design which seems to age well, a design which showcases a very high level of subtle elegance and sophistication, unlike current models which only look fiercely and angular, and show too much aggressiveness, boy, arriving to a gig playing Dark Eyes Twist and Ginchy would be good warm up show opening songs for us, before we begin to play other rock and metal songs when the audiences are ready, and the whole experience would just be so awesome!
