This SAT math video explains how to solve SAT proportion problems. A Proportion is a mathematical statement which tells you that two ratios (fractions) are equal (a/b = c/d). Solving proportions involves stating ratios as fractions, setting the two fractions equal to each other, cross-multiplying, and then solving that equation that comes from cross-multiplying to find the missing value. This video contains examples from the official SAT practice tests.
