Kiri Te Kanawa | The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson 1985

Dame Kiri Te Kanawa appeared on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in November, 1985 to promote her new jazz album 'Blue Skies'. Dame Kiri was in the United States playing the Countess in Der Rosenkavalier for San Francisco Opera. As well as the interview, this appearance includes performances of Puccini's Vissi d'arte from Tosca, and the title track from the new album, Blue Skies.
