Bollywood veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty’s son Namashi Chakraborty will soon be seen in The Bengal Files. The film is directed by Vivek Agnihotri, who had earlier directed The Kashmir Files. Ahead of the film’s release, Galatta India had an exclusive conversation with Namashi. At the beginning of the chat, Namashi explained the meaning of his name and shared how he is not a typical star kid. He spoke about his childhood, why he chose to enter the world of cinema, and also reacted to carrying forward the legacy of his father, Mithun Chakraborty, and mother, Yogeeta Bali.

Namashi also shared his thoughts on Bollywood and the film industry. Responding to anchor Avinash Pal’s questions, he mentioned his brother Mimoh Chakraborty as well. He talked about his experience of working with Vivek Agnihotri, the audition process, and reacted to The Bengal Files being called propaganda.
