Advance | Liru's "Battle of Long Tan" L-MCO |【ArmA 3】

On Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11:30 AM CST, 12:30 PM EST Liru the Lance Corporal hosted one of his events - Liru's Multi-Community Operation (L-MCO) - featuring the "Battle of Long Tan". This video is from the perspective of Player "PatchWork" who is in the role of "Company Commander".

This is part 4.

In part 4, "Advance", the 1st Australian Task Force (the players) regroup, resupply, and redeploy as they advance towards "Xa Long Tan", a town before their main objective. Player "PatchWork" rides in a Huey overlooking the advance.

The Battle of Long Tan (18 August, 1966) was a battle that took place in a rubber plantation near Long Tân, in Phước Tuy Province, South Vietnam, during the Vietnam War (Nov 1, 1955 – Apr 30, 1975). The action was fought between Viet Cong (VC) and People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN) units and elements of the 1st Australian Task Force (1 ATF).

The playerbase for this event is playing as the 1st Australian Task Force (1 ATF) attempting to recover a "lost" platoon.
