Not only will he show your where the lawnmower model information is located but also where the engine model number is located and the cutting deck model information. Having the correct model number is very important when finding the most accurate help and parts for your particular machine.

Your engine model number will be needed to find your manual online or identify the correct engine parts for your lawn mower. This number should be easy to find, as it is typically stamped into the metal on your engine.

Since some engines come with covers or “shrouds,” your engine may look a bit different than those pictured in the video – as they come in a variety of colours, shapes and sizes.
