Filmed at Crystal Palace motor race track in south London. The Formula 2 final of the Crystal Palace Coronation Trophy 1950's

People walking on a hot summer's day. Bandsman licks orange ice lolly. Newsreel cameraman shielded from sun by large black umbrella.
The race from the start. Race develops into battle of two drivers. Very good film of racing. Ken Roche wins. The chequered flag. Winner presented with laurel wreath and silver cup which he drinks from.
