Описание к видео UK's SHOCK Deportation Rule: Are Indians Next? (Deport Now, Appeal Later Explained)

The UK's immigration landscape is rapidly changing! The government has dramatically expanded its "Deport Now, Appeal Later" scheme, tripling the number of countries covered from 8 to 23.
India is now on this "deport first" list, meaning Indian nationals convicted of a crime in the UK will face immediate deportation after sentencing, forced to appeal their case remotely from abroad. This ends the previous system where foreign offenders could remain in the UK during their appeal process, which often lasted months or even years.
The UK government, citing a prison population crisis (jails are at 97.5% capacity) and a desire to stop foreign criminals from exploiting appeal loopholes, aims to restore control and save taxpayer money. Since July 2024, over 5,200 foreign national offenders have already been deported, a 14% increase from the previous year.
This tough new stance, described by some as "Trump-like" in its approach to rapid deportations and stern messaging, means the "clock between arrest and deportation is ticking faster than ever" for those on the wrong side of the law. For Indians, especially those without proper documentation, the risk of immediate removal is now significantly high.
