Yard Job, Extreme Patience, and the Fast Freight

A visit to the RBMN in October, 2023. This is the second part of day two. After the PISB job suddenly tied up in the Stauffer Industrial Park, we headed back to Pittston, but moments before we arrived, a pair of MP1500s heading out was spotted. This was the Pittston Yard Job to Taylor Yard and return. After getting back to Taylor Yard and watching them work with much of the traffic that came in with PISB, along with seeing a long Norfolk Southern train, a test of patience was in order, waiting for MEPI in Ramson. Of course just as we gave up and were driving out, it suddenly showed, and we were limited to jumping out of the car for a quick photo https://flic.kr/p/2pavo66 The MEPI would test our patience again with a seemingly endless wait as it switched the Ramson warehouse just to the west. Finally, with dusk arriving fast, a great catch of a very long NRFF jamming on the brakes as it rolled by just north of Pittston.
