Finger Injuries 2 Year Update | A2 Pulley Tear and Flexor Tendon Repair

Just over 2 years ago I severed my flexor tendon in my right pinkie finger at the DIP joint. I made a serious of videos about the accident, recovery, physical therapy, and have been getting recent questions and update requests for how it has healed after 2 years.


I also recently sustained an A2 pulley tear in my left ring finger. This occurred in March of this year and is typically an injury that is sustained while rock climbing but mine was from gardening, of all things. Since I've gotten many questions about these finger injuries over the past couple months, I thought I would do an update on the condition of both injuries for those of you who are interested. Long story short, neither the flexor tendon repair nor the A2 pulley tear have healed back to pre-injury conditions but that's just the way life goes. I have healed up about as much as I will and I've gotten use to both injuries.
