I set out to determine once and for all.. will a ECU from a Dodge with a 4.7L work in a Jeep 4.7L (duh), but MOST IMPORTANTLY... WILL THAT DODGE ECU WORK AROUND SKIM on the Jeep and will the Jeep operate without issues?

I pulled this ECU from a junk yard 2000 Dodge Durango 4.7L

In a previous video we will discussed an issue on my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.7L V8. This issue resulted the vehicle running fine, but some interior electronics did not operate - specifically the HVAC controls, keyless entry and memory seat.

In that video I expressed that I suspected it was a SKIM (Security Key Immobilization Module) issue or possible a faulty engine ground... It took a few more months, but today I can finally tell you what was wrong.. and you will NEVER GUESS
