With the arrest of 2 burglars namely :
1 Shivam Gupta (24 yrs.) s/o Ram Avtar Gupta and
2. Manish Kumar (22 yrs.) s/o Bhori Lal Bairwa, the staff of PS Budh Vihar solved a burglary of CCTV Cameras worth Rs 4 lakhs. The team has recovered 21 Stolen CCTV Cameras, 3 stolen NVRs from their possession. Motorcycle used in commission of Crime also got recovered.

INCIDENT :
On 08.01.2022, complainant Shri Harish Malhotra r/o Pocket 23, Sector 24, Rohini reported that he is in the business of Installation of CCTV Cameras. He has kept 45 CCTV Cameras and 5 NVRs in his garage. On 08.01.2022, he noticed that gate of the garage was open. When checked, he found that 45 CCTV Cameras and 5 NVRs were stolen by unknown persons. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No 018/22 dated 08.01.2022 u/s 380 IPC PS Budh Vihar was registered and investigation was taken up.

TEAM AND ARREST : Keeping in view the gravity of the offence, a team comprising HC Rajeev, HC Satyawan, Ct Arvind, Ct Satish headed by Inspr Khemendra Pal Singh SHO/ Budhvihar under the supervision of Ms. Arti Sharma, ACP Prashant Vihar was constituted. The team visited the spot, developed information, sources deployed, several CCTV Cameras installed in the vicinity were thoroughly screened. Eventually, two persons were seen in the on a Spelender Motor Cycle at the time of incident. Further efforts were made to develope information. Subsequently, on 19.01.2022, based on a secret information, accused Manish Kumar was apprehended from Uttam Nagar (Dwarka District). During interrogation he confessed to have committed the crime. On interrogation, he disclosed that he along with his associate Shivam gupta had stolen the CCTV Cameras and NVRS. Thereafter, they had gone on a Motor Cycle No. DL 9SBU 5503 which is registered in the name of his father namely Bhori Lal. Motor cycle was also taken into police possession. At his instance co-accused Shivma Gupta was also arrested from his house at Vijay Vihar phase-1, Delhi. 32 Stolen CCTV Cameras and five stolen NVRs have been recovered from his house. Accused Shivam Gupta disclosed that his family used to reside in Uttam Nagar, near the house of accused Manish Kumar. Both are friends since long. To fullfill their daily needs they committed the crime.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED :
1. Shivam Gupta (24 years) s/o Ram Avtar Gupta r/o Vijay Vihar Phase-II, Delhi. Education B. Com. 2nd year from Meerut University. He is Unmarried and has two elder sisters. Father is worker in a factory at Bawana. Previous involvement :-Nil.
2. Manish Kumar (22 years ) s/o Bhori Lal Bairwa r/o Rajpuri, Uttam Nagar, Delhi. He has studied upto 10th class. He is married and has a 2 year old child. He used to work with father as meson. Previous involvement:- Nil.

CASES WORKED OUT : FIR No. 018/22 dated 08.01.2022 u/s 380/411/34 IPC, police station Budh Vihar.

RECOVERY :
1. 32 Stolen CCTV Cameras
2. Five stolen NVRs. Worth Rs more than 4 lacs
3. Motor Cycle No. DL 9SBU 5503 Honda Splender used in commission of crime.
