We continue on in this episode, with the Alfa in polyester primer, all the inside panels in direct gloss and the underneath in colour matched raptor liner. We cover the process of blocking the stages of primer and how we go about shaping and squaring up edges before final colour. Finishing up the Alfa required flatting and polishing, which we show you how to do with a few tips on protecting yourself from burning through the edges and sharpening up those lines. The car will go onto Chris, at CCS Restorations, who will fit everything mechanical, including the Alfaholic twin spark engine, and then onto Larry at Piper Trimmers who will give the Alfa a bespoke interior specified by the customer.
