Here is a video showing why disabling CPU boost can help out a ton. Asus likes to boost the CPU way too much for no reason, when disabled everything functions better. Better temperatures, battery life, and even performance. I've owned probably a dozen Asus Laptops with AMD CPU's and every single one of them suffer from this same issue. Luckily in this video it's a quick fix and can easily be turned on/off to your liking.
