You might think that if breast cancer has spread to your lymph nodes that it is no longer curable, but that's not true.

The lymph nodes in your armpit are part of the breast. If your cancer has spread there, it means that you have a higher risk of your cancer coming back in the future - BUT you will have more treatment - like surgery or radiotherapy to the armpit, chemotherapy etc to reduce the risk of this happening
