How to remove a coffee stain:

1.) Check the care label to determine if your garment is washable. If your garment is dry clean only, do not attempt at home remedies or proceed with caution.
2.) If the coffee stain is on a washable garment, dab (do not rub) the coffee with a clean white towel to absorb as much of the stain as possible.
3.) Before washing, mix up a solution of one cup of lukewarm water, 1/2 teaspoon of dish detergent (not laundry detergent, we like Dawn) and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar.
4.) Apply this solution to the stain site and allow to sit for 15 minutes.
5.) Wash as normal or instructed by the care label.
6.) If the coffee stain did not come out, do not dry!
7.) Try the procedure above again and if this doesn’t work, apply 3% hydrogen peroxide (available from the first aid aisle of your local pharmacy) to the red wine stain. Allow to sit for 15 minutes and then wash. This should remove the last traces of the chocolate.
8.) Only dry once coffee stain has been fully removed.
9.) Your coffee stain is now removed!
