I have to go - Goodbye Dodger

This horse...
He taught me everything
He put up with me fumbling for 5 minutes to put the bridle on right, not posting right, taking forever to pick his hooves and every other beginner mistake you can think of
he taught me how to take a fall, how to ride bareback, how to care for a horse..
He made me the rider I am today and he made me the person I am today
He was my first taste of freedom
I could get on him and gallop full speed away from the world when I was upset
And he always knew
He knew when I was upset and always behaved his best to make me feel better
He would let me cuddle him all day, he tolerated all of my bullshit
Though sometimes it didn't seem like it,
He loved me
And I love him

And I will miss him everyday..
I think all the time about how much farther we could have gone together if I had moved him to a barn...
I know he's happy in his new home.. And i can go see him whenever I want.. The lady who took him is perfect

I'm so grateful for him
For what he taught me
I owe him everything
