Blender 2.9 Retopology Getting Started

In this Blender 2.9 tutorial I show you how to get started with Retopology. I dont use any addon except one to display your retopo mesh in front of the high poly mesh.

The addon is free in the basic version and can be downloaded from here:

I do the retopo for the handle of the Axe model we sculpted by using the polybuild tool and I also enabled snapping to faces, added a shrinkwrap modifier and enabled auto merge.

In the next part we will do the stylized wood texturing.
